Rita's Farm Produce ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Rita's Farm mobile application and associated web platform ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

We collect the following types of information to operate our delivery service:

• Account information — name and email address used to log in to the App
• Customer delivery information — customer names, delivery addresses, and contact details associated with orders
• Order information — product details, quantities, order numbers, and delivery status
• Delivery activity — stop completion status, delivery confirmations, and route information used for operational purposes
• Device and usage data — camera access (used only for barcode scanning), basic app usage logs for troubleshooting

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used solely to operate and improve our delivery operations:

• Processing and fulfilling customer orders
• Managing delivery routes and stop assignments
• Scanning and verifying delivery barcodes
• Generating delivery labels
• Internal reporting and operational analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Who Can Access Your Information

Access to the App is restricted to authorised Rita's Farm staff only. User accounts are created and managed internally — there is no public registration. Only employees directly involved in farm operations and delivery management can access the system.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). We apply access controls so that each user can only access data relevant to their role.

Order and customer data is sourced from our Shopify store and is managed in accordance with Shopify's own privacy practices.

6. Camera Permission

The mobile app requests access to your device camera solely for scanning delivery barcodes. Camera images are not stored, uploaded, or shared. Camera access is only active while the barcode scanner is in use.

7. Data Retention

We retain order and delivery records for as long as necessary for operational and legal compliance purposes. Staff account data is removed promptly when employment ends.

8. Your Rights

As an Australian business, we respect your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You have the right to:

• Request access to personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Ask us how your information is being used
